The closing address ceremony of No. 01/2011 Tele Operator Advanced course was held on 24th January 2012 at TTS Auditorium with the participation of Commanding Officer Group Captain LD Gunawardena and Chief Instructor (technical) Squadron Leader WUS De Silva. Group Captain JP Wanigatunga graced the occasion as the Chief Guest on behalf of the Director Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering.u

The Telephone Operator Advanced course was commenced on 23rd November 2011 and terminated on 24th January 2012. A total of 25 Airmen passed out as competent Telephone Operators on this occasion and they underwent both theory and practical training during the course.

The Shield for the best Telephone Operator of the course was awarded to 28785 Cpl Herath HMRC for his exceptional performance.
