A yoghurt project and a bakery project SLAF Unit Palavi was declared open by the Commanding Officer, Wing Commander Keerthi Wannigama  on 25th January 2012.

This project to be provided the fresh yoghurt and bakery product for the Service personnel, their families and the civilians in the Palavi area on concession rates as a welfare measure as well as maintain the good personnel reputation with out side.
