The closing address ceremony of No. 01/2010 Air Radio Advanced course was held on 30 January 2012 at TTS Auditorium with the participation of Commanding Officer Group Captain LD Gunawardena. Wing Commander KMGB Priyakantha graced the occasion as the Chief Guest on behalf of the Director Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering.

The Air Radio Advanced course was commenced on 29 November 2010 and terminated on 30 January 2012. During the course they underwent both theory and practical training.

A total of 25 Airmen passed out as competent Air Radio Technicians and the Shield for the best Air Radio Technicians of the course was awarded to 25715 Coporal Sanjeewa SIS for his exceptional performance.
