The Annual General Meeting of the Sri Lanka Air Force Seva Vanitha Unit was held on 31st January 2012 at the Officers' Mess SLAF Station Colombo. The AGM was attended by the Station Seva Vanitha Presidents and the Officers in Charge together with other senior members of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit.

The event started with the singing of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit Anthem followed by the welcome address by Assistant Secretary of the SLAF SVU Squadron Leader Nadeera Thanthrige, reading of minutes of the previous AGM, reading of accounts and the election of Office bearers. In addition, a presentation was conducted on the events carried out by the SLAF SVU during the year 2011 and the forecast for year 2012, followed by presentations by Station representatives on the SVU activities carried out at Station level during the year 2011.
