The Chairperson of Sri Lanka Air Force Seva Vanitha Unit Mrs. Neelika Abeywickrema handed over a newly built house on 02nd February 2012 to the parents of late Squadron Leader Monath Perera.

The construction was carried out by the Directorate of Civil Engineering under the supervision of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit and the Directorate of Welfare.

The Officer lost his life in an air accident on 1st March 2011 during a training mission in a “Kafir” aircraft near Yakkala.The ceremony was attended by the Director Welfare Air Vice Marshal Anura Silva, Mrs. Mekala Silva and Officers representing the SLAF Seva Vanith Unit.
