An eventful day of religious activities carried out by Sri Lanka Air Force Unit Koggala   to mark the “Nawam Poya day” of on 08th February 2012.

Coinciding with the “Nawam Poya day” celebrations, under the guidance of Commanding Officer SLAF Unit Koggala Wing Commander Heli Rupasinghe opened newly built Shrine room at unit premises.
Subsequently, “pirith chanting” ceremony and alms giving has done with presence of 30 Maha Sangha on the following day morning.
