Air Force Athletes displayed their caliber when a number of them were recognized for their special achievements at the recently concluded Gala event, Sri Lanka’s Sports Oscars, the Sports 1st Mobitel Platinum Awards Night.
 
The event got underway with much grandeur at Stein Studios in Ratmalana on Sunday, 30 Nov 14.  Pilot Officer Chandrika Subashini received the Best Sportswoman of the Year Award, while LAC Chamari Atapattu won the Best Woman Cricketer of the Year Award.
