Air Force edges out Navy in Defence Services Soccer

Sri Lanka Air Force beat Navy 1-0 in the first match of the Defence Service Soccer Tournament held last evening (July 20th) at Army Sports Grounds.
A penalty taken by LAC Lankeswara at the eighteenth minute after a Navy infringement put the SLAF on the winning path.
Chairman Defence Services and Army soccer , Major General Mark was the Chief guest .
Other distinguished guests at the event included Air Force Soccer Chairman Air Vice Marshal Jayanath Kumarasiri , Secretary Air Force soccer GroupCaptain Saman Kotage and SLAF Command of Sports Officer, Group Captain Harsha Fernando.
