SLAF Station Piduruthalagala celebrated its 16th Anniversary on 05 January 2026. The day’s proceedings commenced with the customary Working Parade, followed by a series of events including community service projects and recreational activities, organized under the guidance of the Commanding Officer, SLAF Station Piduruthalagala, Group Captain Chinthaka Jayasundara, together with all officers, other ranks, and civilian staff.

An all-night Pirith Chanting programme was held on 04 January 2026, invoking blessings upon the Station, its personnel, and their families. This was followed by an almsgiving on 05 January 2026, symbolizing gratitude and spiritual reflection as part of the anniversary commemoration.

As part of the Station Day celebrations, a Shramadana Campaign along with a Medical and Dental Clinic was conducted at the Paynter Home (Children’s Care Home) in Nuwara Eliya.
