No. 55 Junior Command and Staff Course Commences
The No. 55 Junior Command and Staff Course commenced on 14th August 2017 at the Junior Command and Staff College, Sri Lanka Air Force Academy, China Bay. The Opening Address was conducted by the Commanding Officer, Group Captain SDGM Silva. The Chief Instructor and Senior Instructor also briefed the Student Officers about important aspects of the Course.
A total of 30 Sri Lanka Air Force Officers in the rank of Squadron Leader and Flight Lieutenant, 02 Officers from Sri Lanka Army in the rank of Captain, 01 Officer from the Sri Lanka Navy in the rank of Lieutenant Commander, 01 Squadron Leader from Bangladesh Air Force, 01 Squadron Leader from Indian Air Force and 01 Pilot Major from Nepal are following the staff course for a duration of 15 weeks (14 August 2017 to 22 November 2017).
