Progress of No. 75 JC&SC Course
The Student Officers of No. 75 Junior Command & Staff Course successfully completed one of the major exercises in the curriculum "Exercise Borderland". This five day exercise was held from 18 March to 22 March 2024. During this exercise Student Officers were evaluated on Air Appreciation, enduring hardships, Strategic planning and analytic capabilities. The exercise meant to test the understanding of the theories that the Student Officers learned under the Air Power Taxonomy.





The Dining in Night of the No. 75 Junior Command and Staff Course took place on 11 March 2024, at the Officers Mess, SLAF Academy China Bay The acting Commandant participated as the Chief Guest, where the Commanding Officer, directing staff, and all student officers were in attendance. This event served the purpose of providing practical experience in dining procedures to all student Officers, following the theoretical lessons on Customs and Etiquettes, the Dining in Night procedure, and the standards of the Sri Lanka Air Force.
NO 75 JUNIOR COMMAND AND STAFF COURSE VISITS SLAF BASE ANURADHAPURA AND SLAF BASE VAUNIYA
Student Officers of No. 75 Junior Command and Staff Course visited No. 06 Helicopter Squadron SLAF Base Anuradhapura and No. 02 Air Defence Radar Squadron SLAF Base Vavuniya as part of the Airpower Module of the course to gain a deeper understanding of the squadron's functions. During this visit, each student officer had the opportunity to participate in aerial reconnaissance on an Mi-17 helicopter from SLAF Base Anuradhapura to SLAF Base Vauniya.
The awarding ceremony of the Inter Syndicate Sports Competition of No. 75 Junior Command and Staff Course was successfully held on 04 March 2024 at the sports ground of the academy in line with the 25th anniversary celebration of Junior Command & Staff College. This competition provided a platform for student Officers to demonstrate their athletic abilities and teamwork while participating in three sports events namely swimming, cricket, and basketball. The event was honored by the presence of the acting Commandant of the SLAF Academy China Bay as the chief guest. The Chief Instructor and the Directing Staff of the College participated in the event. Student officers who demonstrated exceptional sportsmanship during the competition were awarded trophies.









The Student Officers of No 75 Junior Command & Staff Course successfully completed an exercise focused on conferences within the Air Force Management Systems module. The primary objective of this exercise was to impart knowledge to the student Officers on the adept handling of conference minute procedures in the context of conferences.










NO 34 JUNIOR NAVAL STAFF COURSE VISITS SLAF ACADEMY CHINA BAY









NO. 75 JC&SC SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED THE VISIT TO THE EXPLOSIVE ORDNANCE DISPOSAL TRAINING SCHOOL (EODTS) AT THE SLAF STATION PALAVI
The No. 75 Junior Command & Staff Course visited the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Training School (EODTS) at SLAF Station Palavi as a part of the course curriculum. During this enlightening study tour, the Student Officers had the opportunity to gain knowledge about explosive ordinance disposal training and witness live explosive-related exercises. The visit was facilitated by the Chief Instructor and Senior Instructor, who accompanied the student Officers and took the opportunity to convey heartfelt appreciation for providing this valuable exposure to the student Officers. The primary objective of the study tour was to broaden their understanding of explosives, explosive ordinance disposal and their applications.

























The Management Module for the Student Officers of No 75 Junior Command and Staff College was commenced on 08 January 2024 at the Sir John Kotelawala Defence University and successfully concluded on 26 January 2024. During this phase, student officers had the opportunity to enhance their knowledge in various management-related disciplines, including General Management, Marketing, Economics, Research Methodology, Statistics, Geopolitics, and Project Management.
