Passing Out Parade Held at The Sri Lanka Air Force Diyatalawa

The Passing Out Parade of No.57A, 57B, 58 Direct Entry Student Officers, No.54 Intake Officer Cadets and No.06 Intake Lady Officer Cadets Basic Ground Combat and No.150 Regular Airmen Recruit Courses was held at Sri Lanka Air Force Station Diyatalawa on 9th March 2012.
The Director Aeronautical Engineering Air Vice Marshal PDJ Kumarasiri USP, psc, MAIAA, AMRes, EDBA, PGDip IE, DipQM, z graced the occasion as the Chief Guest The Director Training Air Vice Marshal K Yahampath USP, MSc (Def.Stu) in Mgt, psc and Director General Naval and Air Operations Air Vice Marshal KDU Chandrathilake USP, psc witnessed the parade as Guets Of Honour.
Officer Commanding Training Wing Commander SPVK Senadeera Commanded the Parade; Chief Instructor Cadet Training Squadron Leader KMKB Jayasekera and Chief Instructor Recruit Training RND Senadeera together with the OCT conducted the courses as per the directions given by the Station Commanding Officer Group Captain AJ Amerasinghe.
The passing out parade was followed by a band display by the SLAF Band, a drill display and a gymnastic display by the trainees of the above courses, which was witnessed by all the parents of the trainees’ and well wishers of the Sri Lanka Air Force.
