Educational Workshop to Mark the World Women’s Day
The Seva Vanitha Unit of SLAF Academy China Bay conducted an educational programme in the JC & SC auditorium in view of the World Women’s Day which falls on 8 March every year. Mrs.Chamini Pathirana, the wife of the Academy Commandant graced the occasion as the chief guest.
The workshop was Conducted from 0900 hrs to 1300 covering the following:
* A psychology lecture to relive stress
* A cookery class to educate the participants on traditional cuisine
* An awareness programme on “Beauty culture”
* A Bridal dressing workshop
O I/C of Academy Seva Vanitha Unit ,Wg Cdr DHS Amarasinghe was the chief organizer of the event whilst Lady Officers, airwomen, and the wives of serving personnel at SLAF Academy China Bay participated in the programme.
