SLAF Observes National Quality Week
Under the auspices of Sri Lanka Standards Institute, the National Quality Week will be observed
throughout the Island from 12 -18 October, 2009. Further, the Standards Day
falls on 14 October and will be marked with special functions and
events to raise awareness about setting individual and organizational
standards and aiming for high productivity. The theme for this year is 'Tackling Climatic Changes Through Standards.' The theme aims at stressing the importance of promoting green productivity towards a safe and secure world.
SLAF
as a forerunner in Sri Lanka's Productivity and Standards concept, will
be observing the week by conducting hour long daily
discussions/lectures focusing on standards and productivity in all its
bases and camps.
