Pirith chanting ceremony and alms giving was held at No 5 Fighter Squadron SLAF Base Katunayake on 30th and 31st of March 2012 in view of the squadron’s 21st anniversary.

The function was organized with the participation of the Commanding Officer, Officers, All Other Ranks, civilians and families.

The No 5 Fighter Squadron is the premier Fighter Jet Squadron in SLAF equipped with modern Air to Air fighter.
