The main procuring entity of the Sri Lanka Air Force, the Command Procurement Division celebrated its 3rd anniversary on 1st April, 2012. To mark the occasion, the Station Colombo donated individual contributions of all Officers and men of the Station to a cancer patient. Who is an Air Force civilian, in desperate need of financial assistance for medication.

Celebrations commenced with religious activities in the morning hours at the Command Procurement Division, SLAF Colombo. The ceremony was attended by all Officers and men of the unit including the Director of Logistics, Air Vice Marshal KVB Jayampathy, the Commanding Officer of SLAF Station Colombo, Air Commodore KFR Fernando and the senior officers of the logistic branch.
