Sri Lanka Air Force emerged Champions by defeating the Army netballers in the Defence Services Finals yesterday (5th April 2012) as they beat the Sri Lanka Army team 46 to 42.

Corporal Nilushika PKS of SLAF was crowned “Net Ball Queen” whilst Officer Cadet Jayasooriya of SLAF, Corporal Dhammika WMNM of SLAF and Staff Sgt weerakkody of SLAF were adjudged  the Best Shooter, Best Defender and Best Centre Court Player respectively.

Director Crime Records Superintendent of police Champika Siriwardana graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
