Under The Patronage of the present Chair Person  Mrs. Nelika Abeywickrama the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit established a ‘Beauty Saloon’ (Guwan Air) at SLAF Academy China Bay on 11 Jun 12.

This saloon intends to provide Beauty Culture requirements of the serving personnel in the Academy. A positive participation of service personnel especially Lady Officers & Airwomen of the Academy had been attractive on the opening day. Coinciding the opening of “Guwanya” Beauty Saloon a Personality Development programme was also conducted in the evening hours of the day. The Commandant of SLAF Academy China Bay received the Chief Guest Mrs. Nelika Abeywickrama on arrival to the occasion. The function is also attended by a large number of Officers and Serving Personnel of SLAF Academy China Bay.
