Opening of Beauty Saloon at SLAF Guwanpura

The Command Welfare Shop (CWS)
opened a well Equipped “The Clippers” Beauty Saloon for both Ladies and
Gentlemen at SLAF Guwanpura today (13 June 2012), This Saloon intends to
provide Beauty Culture requirements of the All SLAF members, their
families and outside Clients.
The Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal H D Abeywickrama graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and opened the newly built ‘Beauty Saloon’. Chair Person of SLAF Sewa Vanitha Unit Mrs. Nelika Abeywickrama, Director of Operations Air Vice Marshal GP Bulathsinghala, Director Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering Air Vice Marshal RJ Pathirage, Director Logistic Air Vice Marshal K Jayampathi, Director Welfare Air Vice Marshal WA Silva, Director Dental Service Air Vice Marshal AMB Amunugama,Commanding officer SLAF Colombo Air Commodore KFR Fernando, Command Welfare Project Officer Air Commodore WLRP Rodrigo were among the other distinguished guests. Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks of the SLAF Colombo and SLAF Guwanpura participated at this function.
