New Nursing Assistants Ready to Serve SLAF

The conclusion of the latest Basic Nursing Trade Training Course saw 23 Airmen and 32 Airwomen pass out as competent Nursing Assistants of the Sri Lanka Air Force. The trainees compromising of No. 147 Airmen intake and No. 21 & 22 Airwomen intakes were tasked to undergo both theory and practical training during the duration of the course which commenced on June 20th 2011and concluded on the 12th of June, 2012.
The closing ceremony of the course was held at the SLAF Trade Training School Ekala Auditorium with the participation of the Commanding Officer Group Captain LD Gunawardena and Officer Commanding Training Wing CJ Hettiarachchi. Wg Cdr KR Jayalath graced the occasion as the Chief Guest on behalf of the Director of Health Services.
The Shield for the best Airman of the course was awarded to 41650 AC Kaluarachchi KADP for this exceptional performance.
