The closing address ceremony of no.147 Intake Airmen & no.22 Intake Airwomen Basic Safety Equipment Trade Training Course was held on 20.06.2012 at TTS Auditorium with the participation of Commanding Officer Group Captain LD Gunawardena and Officer Commanding Training Wing Commander CJ Hettiarachchi. Group Captain RHKP Ranasinghe graced the occasion as the Chief Guest on behalf of the Director Aeronautical Engineering.
 
The Basic Safety Equipment Trade Training Course was commenced on 18.05.2011 and terminated on Last week. A total of 16 Airmen and Airwomen passed out as competent Safety Equipments technicians on this occasion and they underwent both theory and practical training during the course.

The Shield for the best Aero Electrical and Instrument Technicians of the course was awarded to 41681 AC Sachinthaka for his exceptional performance.
