SLAF Firefighters in Action at Mt Lavinia Fire

SLAF Firefighters responded to a call for assistance from the Mt Lavinia Fire Brigade, to help fight the fire which broke out in a 3 – storey private tyre and wheel shop in Mt Lavinia during the early hours of 25th June (today).
The SLAF dispatched two fire tenders and one incident control vehicle to the site of the fire. They were part of the response team which is reported to have included a total of 7 fire tenders, a Bronco Sky lift and the incident control vehicle which were from the Hettiawatte Fire Station, the Mt Lavinia Fire Station, Colombo Fire Brigade and the SLAF.
