Sri Lanka Air Force Women's Soccer team became the 2012 Champions of the "Women's Open Club Championship" organized by the football federation of Sri Lanka. The Championship was held from the 22nd of June to 24th June 2012 with the participation of sixteen (16) teams including Sri Lanka Army, Sri Lanka Navy, and Police.

Sri Lanka Air Force became the champs by defeating the Sri Lanka Army team in the finals. The Best player award was awarded to Airwomen AC Angela JK. F/Sgt Bogahawatta performed as the head coach of the Women’s Soccer Team.
