The SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit under the patronage of Mrs. Neelika Abeywickrema its Chairperson conducted a Community Project at Morawewa on 25 June 2012 by assisting children of Awwenagar Vidyalaya.

63 Students of the school received Stationary items, School bags, School shoes and a host of other sundry items. The SLAF SVU and well-wishers were the benefactors of these items.

The event was coordinated by Air Cdre Leonard Rodrigo, Command Welfare Projects Officer and Wg Cdr Ruwan Chandima, the Commanding Officer SLAF Unit Morawewa.

The members of Seva Vanitha Unit, Officers of SLAF Unit Morawewa and Parents of the children participated in the event.  The days programme was concluded with a fellowship of SVU members at SLAF Unit Morawewa.
