The United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) Colorado hosted an “International Week” from 15 October to 19 October 2012 as a part of their Academy Exchange Programme. Sri Lanka Air Force was extended an official invitation and four Officer Cadets and an Officer represented the SLAF.

The delegation comprised Wg Cdr SPVK Senadheera (OCT SLAF Diyatalawa), Off Cdt Karawita, Off Cdt Wickramasinghe ,Off Cdt Asanga and Off Cdt Eranga from No. 55 Intake .

The international week provided a unique forum for the guests of the 25 countries to familiarize themselves with the USAFA’s education and training curriculum while taking part in a variety of cultural and professional activities alongside the future leaders of other air forces around the world.
