The Closing address of No.147 Airmen, No.22 Airwomen Intake 01/2012 Aero E& I & No.150 Airmen 01/2012 Intake OMT Basic Course was held on 06 Nov 2012 at TTS Auditorium under the patronage of Commanding Officer Group Captain P Ranasinghe. Officer Commanding Training, Wing Commander CJ Hettiarachchi., Commanding Officer MTR&OW Group Captain GMAW Amarakoon and Group Captain NU Athukorala Manager Engineering Helitours were also present at the occasion.

The Aero E& I basic course commenced on 02 August 2011and terminated on 06 Nov 2012 & the OMT basic course commenced on 01 Jun 2012 and terminated on 06 Nov 2012. A total of 25 airmen and airwomen passed out as Aero E & I Technicians and a total of 23 airmen passed out as OMTs at this occasion and they underwent both theory and practical training during the course.

The Shield for the best Aero E& I Technician of the course was awarded to 41652 AC Jayaranga JML and the best OMT of the course was awarded to 43413 AC Sriyantha UHP.
