Sri Lanka Air Force CTS Vanni (Men’s) and SLAF Diayathalawa (Women’s) emerged champions in the Inter Unit Athletics Championship 2012.The Athletics Championship was held on 21st and 22nd November 2012 at the SLAF Base Katunayake.

LAC Maldeniya MGDS was awarded the Lakshman De Aliwis Challenge Trophy awarded to the Best Men’s Athlete whilst AC Karunathilaka BRGNS was awarded the Chairman Athletics Challenge Trophy for the Best Women’s athlete of the championship.

Chief Provost Marshal of the Sri Lanka Air Force, Air Commodore CP Welikala graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
