Sri Lanka Air Force won the Vijaya 9A Side Hockey Championship 2012 by defeating Sri Lanka Army by 2 goals to 1. The tournament was held on 24th and 25th  November 2012 at Nandamithra Ekanayake International Turf  Matale.
