A surveillance team of the 614 Intelligence Squadron of SLAF Station Palaly has recovered a large stock of munitions in the general area of Eluththumadduval at Muhamalai on 21 Dec 2012.

On the same day one CH T 56 MK II weapon with qty 29 CH 212 7.62mm ammunition filled magazine was recovered at general area Kottakulama in Pankulam during a training session of the RSF Basic Course.
