SLAF Unit Batticaloa piloted several deeds of charity to mark the National Independence Day in a fruitful way for the community living in the Thamilathive Island. Under the close supervision of the Commanding Officer, Wing Commander WMAB Wewegama, all officers and airmen took part in these  activities on 04th and 05th Feb 13.

The kids of newly opened SLAF English-Tamil medium pre school participated in a Kinder garten National Day celebration event organized by the pre school on 05th Feb 13. The purpose of the event was to inculcate the importance of the National Independence Day to the kids who are going to take over the motherland tomorrow.
