The National Weight Lifting Championship was held on 09th and 10th February 2013 at the Royal College Polonnaruwa. The Air Force lifters won the Women's Category and the men's became Runner – Up at the championship. Airwoman Harishchandra established Sri Lanka records in the snatch, clean and jerk and for the total weight in her weight category.
