In view of the “World Women’s Day – 2013” an educational programme on “Parental and Marital Relationship” was organized by the SVU of SLAF Academy China Bay on 08 March 2013 under the guidance of Mrs. Chamini Pathirana, the President of SVU SLAF Academy China Bay. A cross section of male officers, lady officers, airwomen, and the wives of serving personnel at the Academy participated in the programme. Concurrently, an evening get-together was also organized at the SLAF Resort Marble Beach followed by a dinner for the serving female personnel of the Academy to effect a better interaction amongst them. The Commandant of SLAF Academy Air Commodore SK Pathirana graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
