Sri Lanka Air Force Station Palaly won the Men’s Championship whilst SLAF Station Colombo won the Group Captain HA Perusinghe Memorial Trophy at the Inter unit Basketball Championship 2013 which was held from 29th September to 07th October 2013 at the Tummulla Sport Complex.

In the men’s final, SLAF Station Palaly beat the defending Champions SLAF Station Colombo by 57-40 points and in the women's final, SLAF Colombo beat SLAF Diyathalawa team by 41-25 points. Corporal Ruwanthissa AMD(SLAF Palaly) and LAC Perera MMC ( SLAF Colombo) were adjudged as the best male and female players respectively.

The Commanding Officer Sri Lanka Air Force Station Colombo Air Commodore DJC Weerakoon graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The Chairman of Sri Lanka Air Force Basketball Group Captain Amarakon, Senior Officers and other ranks were also present at the event.
