Sri Lanka Air force Base Katunayake and No 26 Regiment Wing SLAF Base Katunayake won the Men’s and Women’s Championships, whilst SLAF Academy China-Bay and Supply and Maintenance Depot SLAF Base Katunayake became the Men’s and Women’s Runners up at the Inter Unit Volleyball finals held on 2nd  December  2013 at the Sport Complex  SLAF Base Katunayake.

The Secretary Volleyball Federation of Sri Lanka Mr. Susil Ranasinghe graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Chairman SLAF Volleyball Air Vice Marshal RJ Pathirage, Chief Provost Marshal Air Commodore CP Welikala, Base Commander SLAF Base Katunayake Air Commodore SK Pathirana, Officers and other ranks also witnessed the finals.
