The 15th session of the “Aviation Fundamentals for Beginners” was completed on 10th December 2013 at the Air Force Museum. The three days workshops will be conducted during the school holidays in December and four such workshops are scheduled to be held.

A total of 60 children participated in the programme and they had the opportunity of gaining basic knowledge in various aviation aspects.The kids were given the opportunity to participate for the lectures, demonstrations, experimental sessions and practical experiences with real aircraft.

Lectures and training sessions were conducted by experienced personnel including Engineers, Pilots and Technicians of the Air Force.The children who participated were given the privilege of joining the “Young Aviators Club” of the Air Force Museum through which they can continuously engage in learning about aviation through different programmes which would be scheduled in the future.
