The Sri Lanka Air Force rugerites defeated the Hambanthota Sports Club (Sharks) team by 34 (04 goals and 02 penalties)  to 25 points despite HSC fielding two foreign players on 26th January 2014 at Sri Lanka Air Force Rugby Grounds , Ratmalana in the second round of the Dialog League “A” Division rugby tournament.

Tries for SLAF were scored by Sgt Pradeep Kurukulasooriya, LAC Nuwan Perera, LAC Charith Senevirathna, AC Danushka Hapuarchchi. LAC Asanka Perere converted 04 tries and two penalties.

The SLAF rugby team is the only team playing this year in the “A” division rugby tournament without foreign players.
