The deyata Kirula 2014 exhibition was declared opened to the public by H.E the president Mahinda Rajapaksha on 21 February 2014 at 1700 hrs at Kuliyapitiya. This annual exhibition is being held for 8th successive year. This year, the exhibition site is spread across the premises of Wayamba Sri Lanka University, Government Technical College, Kuliyapitiya and Central School of Kuliyapitiya.

The SLAF exhibition includes vibrant and action-packed demonstrations of rifling, rock climbing, fast roping and abseiling by SLAF Regiment Special Forces. Also on offer are some magnificent displays by paratroopers, air dogs, Air Force Band and a drill display by the SLAF colour squadron.

The SLAF Media Unit showcase an array of videos from the pre and post Humanitarian Operation era, ongoing welfare and commercial ventures.  Visitors will also get a chance to be a part of the live web cast from the Deyata Kirula exhibition grounds on www.airforce.lk
