Annual Commander's Inspection of Sri Lanka Air Force Station, Palaly

The Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Kolitha Gunatilleke, conducted the AOCs Inspection of SLAF Station Palaly on 7th March 2014.
Upon arrival the Commander was received by the Commanding Officer, Wing Commander GHP Nanayakkara, and was accorded a street lining commanded by Flying Officer GP Amarasiri.
During the course of the inspection the Commander visited all areas and declared open a Mango plant project. A Certificate of Commendation was awarded to Leading Aircraftman Sepala GSCP (Ops Grd III) for meritorious contributions to the Station in particular and to the Air Force in general.
On conclusion of the inspection, the Commander addressed the Officers, Airmen and Civilians of SLAF Station Palaly. While praising the commendable job done, he encouraged them to set and reach even higher goals.
