The Passing Out Ceremony of No. 57th Non-commissioned Officers’ Management Course

The passing out ceremony of No. 57th Non Commissioned Officers’ Management Course was held at the auditorium of the Ground Training School, SLAF Academy China Bay on 14th March 2014. Air Commodore DC Premarathne, Deputy Director Project Management Unit Akuregoda of the Sri Lanka Air Force graced the ceremony as the Chief Guest.
Air Commodore HMSKB Kotakadeniya, the Commandant of the Sri Lanka Air Force Academy China Bay, and Mr. JAK Mark Senior Superintendent of Police, SSP’s Office, Trincomalee witnessed the event as guests of honour.
The prime intention of this course is to provide a sound academic and management knowledge background while sharpening leadership qualities of the Non Commissioned Officers of the SLAF. The course syllabus extends over a period of 11 weeks and is accredited to the University of Rajarata. All Non Commissioned Officers who fulfil the required criteria will be awarded with a Certificate in Management.
This batch comprised of 44 Senior Non Commissioned Officers, 42 Junior Non Commissioned Officers, 02 Army Senior Non Commissioned Officers and 01 Naval Petty Officer.
17362 Flight Sergeant Ranasinghe RMCJ (Air Com SP I) was adjudged the best all-round Senior Non Commissioned Officer whilst 27295 Corporal Jayasinghe (Ops Air ) was adjudged the best all-round Junior Non Commissioned.
