The Annual General Meeting of the Sri Lanka Air Force Seva Vanitha Unit was held on 19th March 2014 at the AFHQ Auditorium. The AGM was attended by the Station Seva Vanitha Presidents and the Officers in Charge together with Coordinator of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit.

The event commenced with the singing of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit Anthem followed by the welcome address by Assistant Secretary of the SLAF SVU Squadron Leader Prasanthika De Mel. This was followed by the reading of minutes of the previous AGM. Assistant Treasurer Squadron Leader Nalin Pieris read the accounts pertaining to the year 2013 and a presentation was also conducted on the events carried out by the SLAF SVU during the year 2013 by the Assistant Secretary of the SLAF SVU Squadron Leader Prasanthika De Mel.  This was followed by presentations of Station representatives on the SVU activities carried out at Station level during the year 2013.

The election of office bearers for year 2014 was a new concept of the present Chairperson SVU and they are as follows-
