Air Force Museum concluded the season II, One-Day Workshop on ‘Aircraft Landing Gear Systems’ for the members of Young Aviators club recently. The students who have completed the Season I, a Three day workshop on ‘Aviation Fundamentals for Beginners’ in year 2013 were eligible for this one day workshop.

Five Hundred And Sixty One (561) participants got the opportunity of learning about Aircraft Landing Gear Systems through lectures, videos and practical demonstrations. The session ended with a field exercise to test the knowledge they gained through the programme followed by a certificate awarding ceremony.

Commanding Officer of No 04 squadron Gp Capt LH Sumanaweera, Commanding Officer of ASW Gp Capt STR Dewasiri, Commanding Officer of No 27 Regt Wing Wg Cdr MPS Manapperuma graced the occasion and Staff of the SLAF Museum were also present at the certificate awarding ceremony.
