Under the guidance of the chairperson of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit Mrs. Roshani Gunatilleke, the Seva Vanitha Unit at SLAF Base Katunayake visited Ward no. 3 of Mulleriyawa hospital last week. 

This female ward has been maintained by the SLAF since 1985 with the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit complementing the maintenance effort by launching various donation and entertainment activities periodically for the welfare of the inmates of the ward.

Chairperson of SVU SLAF Base Katunayake Mrs Chamini Pathirana, secretory Wg Cdr KDS Gunawardana, several wives of formation Commanding Officers also took part in the event.
