Under the guidance of the chairperson of the SLAF SevaVanitha Unit Mrs. Roshani Gunatilleke, the SevaVanitha Unit of SLAF Academy China bay visited Ward No. 3 of Mulleriyawa hospital on 7th May, 2014.

This female ward is maintained by the SLAF since 1985 with the SLAF Seva   Vanitha Unit complementing the maintenance efforts by various donations and entertainment activities periodically for the welfare of the inmates of the ward.

Marking this event for the month of May, inmates were provided with clothing, bedding items and other gifts and also treated with a special lunch amidst an entertainment session. In order to give a seasonal atmosphere to the ward the place was beautified with decorations including Wesak lanterns

Chairperson of SVU SLAF Academy China bay Mrs Sanjeewani Kotakadeniya, 15 Officers and 30 Airmen and Airwomen took part in the event.
