The Sri Lanka Air Force Football team emerged with their 2nd victory in the AFC President’s Cup Football Tournament 2014 yesterday evening (11th May 2014) at the Sugathadasa Stadium defeating the KRL Football Club Pakistan 3-0.

Going into the match, Striker Duminda put them 1-0 ahead in the 3rd minute and his goal was followed by Hashan Dharshaka’s goal in the 7th minute giving the Sri Lanka Air Force a 2-goal lead. They struck third goal two minutes later through midfielder Kavidu Ishan.
 
The Sri Lanka Air Force Football team thus qualifies for the 2ndround, marking a historical achievement for Sri Lanka Soccer.
