The Badge Awarding Parade of No. 27 Officers, No. 42 Airmen, No. 06 Airwomen and No. 18 Naval personnel Basic EOD Course was held at SLAF Station Palavi on 18th July 2014. The Commanding Officer of SLAF Station Palavi Wing Commander UJB Nissanka graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

 A total of 43 personnel which comprised 4 SLAF and 2 Naval Officers, 30 Airmen, 3 Airwomen and 4 Sailors from the Sri Lanka Navy took part in this 5-month course.  Squadron Leader SP Weerasinghe the Commanding Officer of EOD Training School, Officers and Airmen were also present to witness the event.
