New Batch of Kiddies Enter Defence Service College

A new batch of one hundred and eighty young ones of Officers and other ranks of the Armed Forces and Police commenced their journey in to the world of learning when they were admitted to the Defence Services College in Slave Island this morning (09th Feb 2010).
Chief of Defence Staff and the Commander of the Air Force Air Chief Marshall WDRMJ Goonetileke graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and addressed the young ones and their parents in his speech.
Director of the Defence Service College Major General RKP Ranaweera, Deputy Directress and the Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Education, Welfare Directors of Armed forces and Police were also present.
