Airmen Suresh Pattarachchi qualified to compete in the Common Wealth Boxing meet in India under the 56kg category after defeating Samatanayake of Slimline by 7-4 points.

Six Airmen were selected for the selection test which was conducted at the Royal College Indoor Stadium on 16, 17, & 18 February.

Sri Lankan Boxers are ready to compete in 7 weight categories at the Common Wealth Games held from 10th to 18th of March 2010 in India.
