A Delegation from the Pakistan NDU Visits Air Force Headquarters
A 19-member delegation of the Pakistan National Defence University- 2017 comprising senior Officers of Tri-Services and civilians from Pakistan who are currently on their Overseas Study Tour to Sri Lanka, paid a visit to the Sri Lanka Air Force Headquarters on 24 April 2017.
The delegation was headed by Commodore Shahid Sohail Rao (Head of Delegation). On their arrival to AFHQ, they were received by Group Captain Saman Pallewela, Chief Air Traffic Control Officer of the Sri Lanka Air Force.
A presentation was conducted by Group Captain RADTM Weeraratne Air Operation (I) on Air Ops during the Humanitarian Operation and new Developments of the Sri Lanka Air Force. Subsequently, an interactive Q&A session was held with the participation of Members from the AF board of Management.
On conclusion of the presentation, Head of the delegation Commodore Shahid Sohail Rao, called on the Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Air Force, Air Vice Marshal DLS Dias. Mementos were exchanged between the delegation and the Air Force to mark the event.
