Zimbabwe NDU Delegation Visits Air Force Headquarters

A 23-member delegation from the Zimbabwe National Defence University comprising of Senior Officers of Tri-Services who are currently on their Overseas Study Tour to Sri Lanka, paid a visit to Air Force Headquarters today (03 July 2018).
The delegation was headed by Air Vice Marshal MT Moyo, the Commandant of the Zimbabwe National Defence University. On their arrival to Air Force Headquarters, they were received by Air Vice Marshal WMKSP Weerasinghe, Director Training of the SLAF. Subsequently, head of the delegation, Air Vice Marshal MT Moyo called on Commander of the Sri Lanka Air Force, Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy at the Commander’s Office where symbolic mementos were exchanged to mark the event.
A presentation was conducted by Group Captain Sampath Wickramarathne, the Senior Air Staff Officer at the Directorate of Air Operations on ‘Operational and Recent Developments of SLAF’. Subsequently, interactive Q&A session was held with the participation of the Chief of Staff of the SLAF Air Vice Marshal Sumangala Dias and Members from the AF Board of Management.
