Awareness Programme on Traffic Laws Conducted for Airmen Absorbed from Volunteer Force

An awareness programme on Traffic Laws and Road Safety was conducted for 122 airmen newly absorbed from the Volunteer Force to Regular Force at SLAF Trade Training School Ekala yesterday (29 November 2018).
The guest lecturers for this event were Traffic and Road Safety Deputy Inspector General of Police, Mr Ajith Rohana and Inspector of Police Mr Senaka Gamage, Officer in Charge of the Driving Training School, Police Headquarters.
The Director General Engineering of the SLAF, Air Vice Marshal AWE Wijesuriya, Staff Officers of the Directorate of General Engineering, the Commanding Officer of the School, Officer Commanding Technical Services and Motor Transport Officers of Academy, Bases, Stations, Motor Transport Examiners, Instructors, trainees of advanced and basic courses participated for the programme.
